How does Our Delivery System work?

Most of our products come with "Next Day Delivery", however, the orders must be placed before 13:00. We have categorized our delivery method in the following Zones, and have tried to keep the system the simplest way to follow and understand. When you will select your product it will automatically calculate competitive delivery charges depending on the weight of the item. Please find below a table with the indication of delivery charges against weight but you will find precise delivery charges. However, we offer FREE POSTAGE from time to time and if that offer is available please select from "Delivery Method" where stated.

Which courier companies do we use?
We use the UK's best carrier companies Royal Mail and Parcelforce. We use Royal Mail for orders less than 2 KG and Parcelforce for above 2 KG within the United Kingdom and worldwide. Please ensure when you order someone is at home for Royal Mail Delivery time because many of our items cannot go through mailboxes and returned to the Post office and ultimately lost or returned to us. We will not deliver again without asking for postage charges again.

Why Parcelforce?
They are fully trackable and if you leave your mobile number they will send you a text message to let you know where your delivery is and when it is going to be delivered.


Royal Mail
From late September 2012, subject to regulatory approval, if you are not home when Royal Mail attempt to deliver, they will leave your item(s) with one of your neighbors wherever possible and pop a card through your door to tell you where you can pick up your item(s). If they have Special Delivery or international mail that needs to be signed for, they will still take it back to the local delivery office, so you can either collect it or arrange redelivery, as normal.
When choosing a standard delivery service, if the product can fit through a letterbox and does not exceed the value of £20.00, it will be sent via Royal Mail.
When choosing any Royal Mail delivery options, please make sure you have read and agreed to their terms and conditions concerning delivery promises and insurance allowances. Visit the Royal Mail website for more information.

How much does delivery cost?
The Next day delivery service is only offered for United Kingdom Inland deliveries; this excludes the Highlands of Scotland, Ireland, and other Isles. If placed before noon your order will arrive the next working day; excluding public holidays and in circumstances permitting.

If your order is placed on the weekend and you have requested a next day delivery service your order will arrive on Tuesday.
The order's shipping weight is based on volumetric weights, not the item's dead weight.

Do I have to pay customs and import charges?
Customs and import charges are paid once the order reaches its destination country. The recipient is responsible for paying these charges and may be unavoidable.
As we have no control over these charges we are not responsible for paying them and unfortunately would not be able to tell you how much the cost may be. If you need to find out these costs you should contact your local customs office who should be able to help you.

Do you deliver to PO Box addresses?
Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to PO Box addresses.

Do you deliver to BFPO addresses?
Yes we can, we have no problem sending orders to BFPO addresses but we cannot guarantee that we can dispatch your order VAT free.
Within the EU: Please order as normal using either the online store or telephone. If your BFPO address is eligible for VAT exempt sales you must first send us a copy of the VAT exemption form signed by your CO. Please contact us with this information. We will then dispatch the goods once we have received the form.
Outside the EU: If your BFPO address is outside the EU you will not be charged VAT. However, if it is not obvious that the destination is outside the EU then we will need a copy of a VAT exemption form signed by your CO. We will not ship orders until we have received this form.
The following BFPO addresses are subject to VAT

All remaining BFPO addresses are tax-exempt under article 77/388/EEC. To meet the regulations imposed on us by the Inland Revenue you will need to post, email, or fax a copy of the exemption form to us. Customs & Excise in Rheindahlen has advised that this form can be obtained from most Messes or can found in SOBAG 5205 Annex C. As soon as we receive this form we will credit the Tax back the account initially charged.
